It is the goal of the FAWE to preserve and enhance the rich heritage of our agriculture and wildlife communities by inviting the communities and visitors to attend and participate in a quality agriculture and wildlife expo experience whereby agriculture, livestock, equestrian, and wildlife events and exhibits are key components of the Expo.
FAWE is led by a governing Board of Directors consisting entirely of volunteers from the community who are dedicated to growing the agriculture industry in Hernando County and inspiring the next generation to do so as well.

My name is Amanda Braswell, and I am honored to serve as President of the Florida Agriculture & Wildlife Expo. My husband, Jamie, and I have been married for 24 years, and together we are raising two daughters while managing a small cow/calf operation in
Brooksville. During the day, I work as the administrator for the largest privately owned cardiology group in Central Florida, balancing a busy professional life with my love for agriculture and community.
My faith is a central part of who I am. My family and I are active members of Stable Faith Cowboy Church in Brooksville, where we find strength, fellowship, and purpose through our church community. The church’s mission to promote farming and ranching
reflects our shared commitment to stewardship, rural values, and support for the agricultural way of life.
My family’s involvement in Florida agriculture dates back to the 1940s, and I am proud to be helping shape the fifth generation of native Florida cattle producers. Growing up in this community has given me a deep appreciation for the values that define rural life—hard work, stewardship, resilience, and family.
As President of the Expo, I see this event as far more than a gathering of livestock and equipment. To me, it is a place where generations come together—seasoned producers, young exhibitors in 4-H and FFA, and families from across our region. It is a place where we celebrate successes, share knowledge, and strengthen the relationships that keep our agricultural and wildlife communities thriving. One of my top priorities is fostering collaboration and inclusion. Whether you are a rancher, beekeeper, grower, hunter, fisherman, or simply someone who values Florida’s natural resources, I believe we all have something meaningful to contribute. I want this Expo to reflect that shared purpose and to ensure that every voice—especially those of our youth—has a place at the table.
Florida’s agriculture and wildlife sectors are changing quickly, but I believe in our
community’s ability to adapt, grow, and continue to thrive. Together, we can preserve our heritage, support our producers, and create opportunities for the next generation.

Garry Flood is a long time member of the community and a proud working man who believes in lending a hand whenever it’s needed. He has dedicated over 38 years to the Southwest Florida Water Management District, where his commitment to conservation and public service has earned him the respect of colleagues and friends.
Garry has also been involved with the Florida Agriculture and Wildlife Expo since its founding and currently serves as Vice President, helping promote education, wildlife awareness and community pride through the organization. His dedication and involvement reflect his genuine passion for supporting the people and places that make our community strong.

Michelle Payne was born and raised in Brooksville and is a proud fifth-generation Brooksvillian. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction finance industry, along with extensive experience in bookkeeping, financial management, and tax preparation. In 2023, Michelle founded Oleno, LLC, where she provides bookkeeping and tax services to small businesses.
Michelle and her husband own and operate Campton Ranch, a family-run hay and cattle operation managing a herd of Angus, Brangus, Hereford, and Charolais cattle, along with Tifton hay production. In 2025, they expanded their direct-to-consumer beef operation by opening a farm-based storefront, The Silo on Ayers, offering locally raised beef by the cut and other locally sourced products.
Michelle previously served as Secretary of the Hernando County CattleWomen’s Association and also fulfilled the role of Interim Treasurer for one year. She has been a 4-H leader for the past two years, following two years as a co-leader, and is committed to supporting youth development through agriculture and leadership opportunities. She is also a founding director of the Brooksville Annual Squirrel Hunt Competition, which hosts more than 150 youth annually and promotes outdoor recreation while preserving Florida’s hunting heritage.
Michelle is a strong advocate for local agriculture and youth involvement. She and her husband have three sons who have been involved in 4-H and raising livestock throughout their lives. One of their sons recently graduated and was a long-standing member of the Junior Livestock Committee, further reinforcing Michelle’s personal and professional commitment to youth programs in agriculture.

Virginia Joyner is a Brooksville native, where she and her husband and two children, Kylee and Westin, live and operate a small farm, known as 4J Ranch. Together they raise swine, various chickens, cattle and more, and have been involved in FAWE since its inception. The Joyner family attends Community Bible Church, and Kylee and Westin attend school at Hernando Christian Academy.
Full time, Virginia is proud to be a third-generation nurse, and currently works for a non-profit hospice organization, caring for patients and families through their last days. Her compassion for selflessly helping others, combined with her commitment to her family, directs who she is and all the things she does.
Virginia's goal for FAWE is to continue to foster a place where kids in the community can learn the importance of agriculture, the skills to raise and care for animals, and the work ethic to become hard-working, successful adults.
